Antonio Conte and Napoli will be looking to put their Champions League disappointment behind them when they host a Fiorentina side who are still bound to the relegation spots in Serie A on Saturday evening.

It has been a troubling week for Conte and his players, who were beaten 3-0 by Juventus last weekend, and were then knocked out of the Champions League after a 3-2 defeat at home against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Despite an encouraging set of results at the beginning of the calendar year, Fiorentina have also recorded two consecutive defeats this week: By Cagliari in Serie A last weekend, and by Como in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night.

Injury issues have not eased for the Partenopei aside from Romelu Lukaku, who has appeared off the bench at the end of Napoli’s last two matches. Kevin De Bruyne, David Neres, Matteo Politano, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Billy Gilmour, Amir Rrahmani and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic all remain unavailable through injury.

Pre-match reports suggest that it could be the same Napoli starting line-up as the one that took to the field against Juventus last weekend, with Eljif Elmas and Antonio Vergara continuing to support Rasmus Hojlund in attack.

Roberto Piccoli is a doubt for Fiorentina after the defeat against Como in the Coppa Italia, which means that Moise Kean should return to the starting XI. Sky Sport Italia indicates that Fabiano Parisi is set to start over Manor Solomon.

Kick-off is due at 17.00 GMT.
