Serie A official line-ups: Cremonese vs. Inter

The Inter injury list keeps growing, but Lautaro Martinez partners Francesco Pio Esposito with Davide Frattesi in midfield against Jamie Vardy’s unpredictable Cremonese.

It kicks off at the Stadio Giovanni Zini at 17.00 GMT (18.00 CET).

The Nerazzurri are flying away at the top of the Serie A table and had their confidence boosted by a midweek 2-0 victory away to Borussia Dortmund, even if it wasn’t enough to avoid the Champions League play-offs.

However, the injury list is growing, now missing Nicolò Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries and also Carlos Augusto.

Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni were rested in the Champions League midweek, so return to the starting XI with Pio Esposito.

Sucic and Piotr Zielinski form the midfield with Frattesi, while despite rumours of a potential exit, Luis Henrique also starts.

Cremonese made their name as giant-killers this season with victories over Milan and Bologna, holding Como, Atalanta and Lazio to draws.

Their form has taken a dip in recent weeks, managing just three stalemates in their last eight games, not scoring for three on the bounce.

Tommaso Barbieri is suspended, with Martin Payero, Antonio Sanabria, Warren Bondo, Faris Moumbagna and Michele Collocolo injured.

New signings Milan Djuric and Youssef Maleh are thrown straight onto the bench.

Veteran Vardy leads the way with Federico Bonazzoli, while Alessio Zerbin moves into a midfield role.
