Serie A official Week 18 line-ups: Lazio vs. Napoli

Napoli stick to Rasmus Hojlund, David Neres and Scott McTominay for the tricky trip to Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio, who rely on Mattia Zaccagni, Tijjani Noslin and Matteo Guendouzi.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 11.30 GMT (12.30 CET).

The Partenopei ended 2025 with some morale-boosting results, winning the Supercoppa Italiana and beating Cremonese 2-0 to stay within touching distance of top spot in Serie A.

Antonio Conte is again dealing with a lengthy absentee list, including Romelu Lukaku, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa, Kevin De Bruyne and Billy Gilmour.

Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola once more take wingback roles, allowing Neres and Eljif Elmas to support centre-forward Hojlund.

Lorenzo Lucca is not even on the bench after coming down with flu symptoms.

Lazio have plenty of their own problems, including the fact they agreed the sale of Taty Castellanos to West Ham United for €30m and don’t yet have a replacement.

Patric also pulled out with a calf strain, joining Samuel Gigot on the treatment table, though Nicolò Rovella returns to the bench for the first time since September 21.

Boulaye Dia and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru are at the Africa Cup of Nations, so options are limited in attack.

Matteo Cancellieri gets the nod ahead of Gustav Isaksen to join Noslin and Zaccagni upfront.

Guendouzi starts despite reports he is in negotiations for a move to Fenerbahce, but Matias Vecino is ruled out by flu symptoms.

With the shortage of alternatives, Elseid Hysaj is brought back into the limited Serie A list.

Toma Basic and Guendouzi return from suspension.

Napoli have not beaten Lazio since September 2022, managing just two draws and four defeats between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

Sarri has also won both previous meetings with Conte.
