Sevilla have confirmed the loan signing of Tottenham forward Alejo Véliz until the end of the season.
The move is a straight loan with no obligation or to buy for the La Liga outfit.
Véliz, who signed for Spurs last summer in a £13m deal from Rosario Central, has made eight Premier League appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side to date, scoring his first goal for the club in the 4-2 loss at Brighton in December.
However, with players returning from injury and international duty coupled with the loan deal for Timo Werner, the 20-year-old was likely to struggle to get game time hence his move to Spain.
Sevilla will be hoping the Argentine can help them stave off relegation and climb up the table from their current position of 16th.
