La Liga outfit Sevilla have on Thursday been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Saúl Ñíguez has returned to training alongside the rest of García Pimienta’s squad.
Midfielder Saúl has for his part not taken to the pitch since all the way back in late-September.
This comes after the 30-year-old suffered a serious muscular injury en route to an eventual 2-1 La Liga downing of Real Valladolid.
Saúl has since spent the last couple of weeks ramping up his comeback efforts, with a view to an upcoming return to competitive action.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, as much took a significant step forward.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Sevilla midfielder Saúl Ñíguez was the big news in Javier García Pimienta’s team’s training session on Thursday , after his return to the team’s dynamic after the muscle injury he suffered almost two months ago.’
The hope is that the on-loan Atlético Madrid man will, in turn, be back available for selection early in December.
