Sevilla hit three-year transfer high as Ure and Kochorashvili lead spend | OneFootball

Sevilla have broken their recent transfer ceiling, with this summer’s outlay already beyond 10 million euros and headlined by deals for Robbie Ure and Giorgi Kochorashvili.

ABC de Sevilla reports the club paid 6.5 million euros for Ure, potentially rising to 9 million with add-ons, and 4.5 million for Kochorashvili to Sporting Club de Portugal, taking the total past 11 million without extras.

It marks a clear shift from the last two windows under planning led by José Ignacio Navarro, with eight arrivals completed. The spend already surpasses Víctor Orta’s second season and dwarfs the 250,000 euros laid out last year under Antonio Cordón, despite the club’s continued financial strain.

Headroom has come from significant exits. Sales of Akor Adams, Juanlu Sánchez and Djibril Sow have brought in more than 30 million euros, while trimming the wages of Tanguy Nianzou, Joan Jordán and Rafa Mir has eased the bill. A move taking Rubén Vargas to Olympiacos is well advanced at around 15 million euros.

Even so, the plan is not closed. Sevilla have scope to register one more player, with a second striker the priority. If Vargas leaves, the club could pursue two further deals, a winger to replace him and a pivot to complete the main needs.
