Sevilla star returns to training ahead of Athletic Club clash | OneFootball

A key member of the attacking ranks at Sevilla has on Thursday linked back up with his teammates in group training.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Isaac Romero as the player in question.

Frontman Isaac, for his part, was forced to sit out this past Tuesday night, as his side returned to winning ways at the expense of Real Valladolid.

As much came owing to a sprained ankle which ultimately failed to recover in time for the clash.

As alluded to above, though 48 hours on, the Sevilla youth product appears to be in an altogether improved state.

As per the aforementioned MD, Isaac was back in the thick of things in training in Andalusia this morning, looking fully recovered from his ankle problem.

The expectation, in turn, is that the 24-year-old will be back in from the off this Sunday, when Garcia Pimienta’s troops make the trip to the Basque Country, for what will no doubt prove a testing affair against Athletic Club.
