Things just seem to go from bad to worse for Norwich City this season, with the club sat in the relegation zone after 14 games, Canaries defender Shane Duffy and head coach Liam Manning seemingly came to blows during their 1-1 draw with crisis-club Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday evening.
It has been far from an ideal season for Norwich so far.
Following a disappointing campaign last season, where their form under Johannes Hoff Thorup tailed off towards the back end of the season, resulting in the club missing out on the play-offs and sacking the Dane, there was much more optimism in Norfolk ahead of this campaign.
With the dismissal of Thorup came a search for a new manager, for whom the Canaries identified Liam Manning as his replacement in the dugout.
Manning had just guided Bristol City into the play-offs with a sixth-placed finish and was in high demand, leading Norwich to pay the compensation to the Robins to bring him to Carrow Road.
The Englishman grew up a Norwich fan, and, on paper, it seemed to be the perfect fit. With the investment into the squad with the likes of Mathias Kvistgaarden, Papa Diallo, and Mirko Topic all signing for multi-million pound fees, the foundations seemed to be in place for a positive season. Or so fans thought.
After 14 games, Norwich sits in 22nd, four points from safety, with the worst home record in the entire EFL, having failed to pick up a point at home all season thus far.
Having fallen behind to a Barry Bannan long-range effort on Wednesday night at Hillsborough, it all seemed to be happening again, as Shane Duffy and Liam Manning seemingly came to blows on the touchline, before the Irishman was hooked at half-time with the Canaries trailing.
With the walls seemingly closing in on Manning and an international break coming up, it's unlikely that Duffy, 33, will ever play for Norwich again following the incident.

Football League World's Norwich fan pundit, Zeke, has provided their damning view on Duffy and whether he expects to see him in a Norwich shirt anymore with Manning in charge.
Zeke said: "I think it was bound to happen, not that exact thing, but something was bound to happen because Duffy is a liability, especially off the pitch.
"We all know what he is like; he was frozen out of the squad, he wasn't in Manning's plans, and then, suddenly, he was back in his plans, probably hoping that he can make a difference somehow.
"But then we had the incident online, where he was being an idiot, really online.
"And somehow, yeah, he wasn't picked for that game, but then he still made it into the team for the week after, and the week after that.
"So, yes, he's experienced, but I don't think he's a good player to have around, because he is a liability, and we're trying to move on from him, so bringing him back into the team was a desperate call from Manning there.
"I'd imagine that he isn't going to be playing any more games under him, and it's likely that that's going to be his last ever Norwich game, I'd say, because you don't do that, even if you're disagreeing with the manager, you need to remain professional and keep working.
"But, yeah, then he obviously got taken off at half-time. So, yeah, we'll see how that plays out.
"He might get another go in the team if we have a new manager, but I don't think he will be playing many more minutes for the club."

With Norwich languishing in the relegation zone, Manning under obscene pressure, and Duffy losing his cool, it couldn't be going much worse for the Canaries at the moment.
Duffy, who has over 100 Premier League appearances and 200 Championship appearances to his name, joined Norwich in 2023, and before this season, had been a regular starter in the side.
However, this season, he has made just two starts, with the one against Wednesday his second, before being replaced by goalscorer Kvistgaarden at half-time.
In recent weeks, Manning had to reprimand Duffy for comments that he made directed at a Norwich fan online, with the Canaries boss saying: "The positions we are in and the responsibility we hold - irrespective of our opinions and what we think - you can't come out and say that."
Duffy cited his comments as "frustration, not a lack of respect for supporters", but the damage was done, and now, it looks increasingly unlikely that Duffy will be appearing for Norwich again, at least while Manning is at the helm.
