Sheffield United ran out 3-0 winners against Swansea City this afternoon, as Paul Heckingbottom’s side recorded another routine Bramall Lane win.

Goals in the first-half from Sander Berge and Jack Robinson all-but secured the points, before Oli McBurnie stepped off the bench to add a third late on.

Heckingbottom will take great delight in how his side continue to sweep away most of the division with ease, after another professional performance this afternoon.

Here’s how we rated the Blades:

Wes Foderingham – 7: Dealt with Joel Piroe shot well in the first-half and his reactions on the rebound were impressive. Denied Oli Cooper in the second-half too.

Jayden Bogle – 8: Got forwards well and was involved in the build-up play for the first and third goals.

Anel Ahmedhodzic – 6.5: Looked to get forwards from centre-back whenever he could, as the dynamic Bosnian typically does.

Jack Robinson – 8: Controlled a superb finish for 2-0 and almost scored with what would’ve been an outrageous volley late on. Pick of back-three.

Max Lowe – 6.5: Very good on the left, offering the perfect balance to Bogle on the right, albeit not quite hitting the levels of his teammate this afternoon.

Oliver Norwood – 8: Free-kick onto bar was a sweet strike, dictated play and was involved in many other positive phases of play. Must not be underrated, one of the best midfielders in the Championship.

Sander Berge – 7: Typical performance from the Norwegian in how he drifted in and out of the game, but offered a timely strike to open the scoring with a great finish.

James McAtee – 7: Involved in the build up to both first-half goals, providing the assist for the first and winning the free-kick for the second.

Iliman Ndiaye – 6.5: Not his usual self when it came to carrying Sheffield United forwards with his dribbling, but this was an afternoon where Heckingbottom didn’t need him at his best.

Billy Sharp – 6: Denied by a good Fisher save in the first-half and ran the channels well without much else in the way of chances.

Adam Davies

John Fleck – n/a

Chris Basham – n/a

Oli McBurnie – 7: Really good cameo from the bench to help Sheffield United lift their game a level in the final quarter. An easy finish for his goal after two or three other half-chances.

Ismaila Coulibaly – n/a

Ben Osborn – 7: Busy performance alongside McBurnie off the bench, drifting left, right and centrally.
