Sheffield United sign full-back Warrington | OneFootball

Sheffield United have completed the signing of full-back Chloe Warrington on a two-year deal with the option of a further year.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blades this afternoon.

The 24-year-old left-sided player joins Sheffield United on a free transfer after recently leaving SWPL 1 club Glasgow City at the end of her contract. Warrington spent four years with Glasgow City in which she won one league title and the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup.

Prior to her spell with Glasgow City, Warrington spent her early years across the city with Celtic.

On the international stage, Warrington has represented Scotland at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.

After joining Sheffield United, Warrington said “I’m delighted to be here. Being around the stadium for the first time has been really exciting, and I just can’t wait to get started.

“I just wanted a change. When I spoke to the guys here, what they had and what they are trying to achieve is really exciting and fitted me well, so I thought this would be the best place to come.”

Warrington is Sheffield United’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
