Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer has reportedly attracted transfer interest from Turkish club Trabzonspor.

Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer could leave Bramall Lane this month amid reported transfer interest from Turkish club Trabzonspor.
The Blades have endured an underwhelming Championship season so far, which took another turn for the worse when they were beaten 1-0 by Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Hamer has not made a league start for the South Yorkshire outfit since their 5-3 defeat to Wrexham on Boxing Day, which could influence his decision regarding his future.
The 28-year-old was named in Chris Wilder's starting lineup and scored when Sheffield United lost 4-3 to Mansfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup, but he had to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench against Charlton.

Hamer is often subject to transfer speculation when the market is open, and he has been one of the Blades' star performers since joining from Coventry City back in 2023.
This time around, Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are reportedly interested in both the Dutchman and his teammate Harrison Burrows, who has made 25 Championship appearances this season.
With Trabzonspor's advances for Hamer in mind, Football League World asked our Sheffield United fan pundit, Jimmy from the Blades Ramble YouTube channel, if this is the window we will see the midfielder leave Bramall Lane, and if the move to Turkiye is right for him.
Jimmy said: "Will he stay or will he go? This seems to be a similar conversation every transfer window about Gus Hamer. It's a little bit different this time because he's not been performing this season.
"He's fit and not getting into the side. He's only going to depreciate in value if he doesn't sign a contract. If he's not going to sign a contract, I would be willing to consider selling him.
"It's a move that's not to a divisional rival, which I think benefits us because we know he's a great player. We've just not seen the same from him this season. It will all come down to whether he wants to commit to Sheffield United or not.
"We'd be happy to keep him, I'm sure. But we also have to run ourselves as a business, and with 18 months on his deal, we may be considering cashing in if he doesn't want to stay."

Hamer has largely been a great servant for the Blades, which was epitomised when he produced a return of 10 goals and eight assists across all competitions last season.
However, as alluded to by Jimmy, the former Coventry man has struggled for game time in the Championship in recent weeks, meaning that now could be the right time for the South Yorkshire club to cash in on his services.
While Hamer can be a major asset in the second tier, Blades boss Wilder also has the luxury of being able to rely on other talented attacking midfielders, such as Callum O'Hare.
Furthermore, the former PEC Zwolle star's contract at Bramall Lane expires in June 2027, meaning that his current club have limited chances remaining to recoup a decent transfer fee for his services, especially while his game time is decreasing.
