According to the Daily Mail, the full-back is wanted by a number of EFL sides on both a permanent and temporary basis.

The 19-year-old also has interest from clubs on the continent, but no decision has yet been made on his future.

The teenager has yet to break into the first team squad at Old Trafford, but has been with the club since the age of 10.

The beginning of the campaign takes place this weekend, so teams will be keen to get deals over the line in time for kick-off.

But the transfer window will run until 1 September, so there are still three weeks left to complete any remaining business.

It’s believed that Man United youngster Jaydan Kamason is attracting a lot of interest this summer.

The 19-year-old has suitors across the Championship, as well as Sheffield Wednesday in League One.

However, it’s understood that the full-back could stay around Carrick’s squad for the first half of the campaign.

The right-back will be behind Diogo Dalot and Moussair Mazraoui in the pecking order to begin with, which could open the door to a potential sale or loan move.

Southampton, Preston, Blackburn and Bristol City have all been credited with an interest, and no front-runner has emerged for his talents.

Sheffield Wednesday are also keen, although their interest is more likely to be for a loan deal than a permanent transfer.

Harry Amass moved from Man United to Hillsborough on loan last summer, and twice won the player of the month award before being recalled in January.

Jaydan Kamason's pre-season with Man United

Kamason featured for the Red Devils in their 5-0 pre-season friendly win over Rosenborg in July, as well as their 2-1 loss to Wrexham.

However, he has yet to play a competitive minute for the Premier League side, who will be competing in the Champions League this season.

The right-back has a contract with Man United until June 2028, giving the club plenty of leverage in any upcoming transfer talks.

It remains unclear what the player’s preference is at this stage, particularly as he could yet have a role to play in Carrick’s first team plans in 2026/27.

Jaydan Kamason decision could come late in the transfer window

The future of Kamason could be decided in the final stages of the window, so it’s unlikely any deal will be done before the season starts this weekend.

The teenager has the potential to break into Carrick’s plans next season, but he will have to get ahead of two established stars to do so.

Perhaps a loan move this season would make more sense, as it will offer him valuable first team experience and allow Man United the flexibility to decide his future in January or next summer.

Man United have a strong relationship with Sheffield Wednesday, but their preference could be for Kamason to play in the Championship instead of League One, which could hurt their chances of completing a deal.
