Jenna re-joins the Reds having previously progressed through the Shelbourne Academy. She was a member of the Shelbourne Under-17 squad during the 2023 and 2024 seasons and received multiple call-ups to the Women’s First Team squad throughout 2024, including for the FAI Cup Final against Athlone Town.

In 2025, Willoughby made the move from Tolka Park to Dalymount, where she continued her development and went on to make her Women’s Premier Division debut against Waterford FC.

Speaking on her return to Tolka Park, Jenna said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be rejoining Shels. Having come through the Shelbourne Academy, it feels great to be back at the club. I’ve really enjoyed pre-season so far and I’m hugely excited for what’s to come this season.”

Shelbourne FC Head Coach Sean Russell added: ”We are delighted to welcome Jenna back to the club. Jenna is a very talented goalkeeper and has huge potential. We are looking forward to working with Jenna as we believe she has a big future in the game.”

Shelbourne FC Technical Director Luke Byrne said: “We’re delighted to secure Jenna’s signature and bring her back to the club. She is a young and talented goalkeeper with great potential.
