Bitter news for the German national team and for Bayern youngster Lennart Karl. The 18-year-old suffered a serious injury in training and is in danger of missing the World Cup

At the final press conference before the World Cup dress rehearsal against the USA, Julian Nagelsmann commented on the current situation surrounding Lennart Karl as follows: „Lennart Karl injured himself in training today. It doesn’t look good. He’s gone to hospital and will be examined there. We’ll have to wait for the diagnosis and see whether he can play at the World Cup or whether we have to nominate a replacement.“
