Premier League legend Thierry Henry has backed Enzo Maresca and believes Chelsea don’t have enough quality in their squad.
Chelsea are now winless in four games having lost 2-1 against Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday night in another poor showing.
The Blues face a crucial game on Saturday against an inform Everton side at Stamford Bridge, and Maresca really can’t afford to drop points.
Maresca has come under fire for Chelsea’s poor run of form, and fans were particularly annoyed with his in game management against Atalanta.
Chelsea ended the game with six defenders on the pitch, whilst Estevao and Andrey Santos remained on the bench.
Maresca came under pressure earlier in the season following back to back defeats against Manchester United and Brighton.

He managed to turn things around, and now needs to do the same again, but he’s got the backing of Arsenal legend Henry.
“You see them dominate games against sides like Barcelona, Arsenal, PSG but against teams like this, Chelsea struggle, why? he told CBS Sports Golazo.
“Well, They don’t have the weapons to break open teams like this without Cole Palmer,
“They are winless in the last four games, but can you blame the manager? I don’t think so.
“I don’t think any of their attackers are on Cole Palmer’s level which should tell you the level they all still are.
“Some of their players also look fatigued and maybe they need rest. I think in January they need to address their centre back crisis.”
Maresca is believed to retain the full backing of the Chelsea board, and it’s been reported they feel the Italian is the right man to lead the project forward.

Chelsea are set to review Maresca at the end of the current season, where once again the target is said to be Champions League football.
Internally the Blues don’t expect to be in a position to lift the Premier League title in May, but fans will want to see signs of progress and a title challenge as soon as possible.
