Chelsea’s January business was very limited, but one thing they did manage to go was get a great loan for Axel Disasi.

The defender went to West Ham and has pretty much turned their season around. They are still in the relegation battle, but at least they have a chance now. Disasi himself is delighted with how things have gone.

Disasi on feeling good at West Ham after January move

“I’m feeling good, as much mentally as physically. Getting back on the pitch helps me feel good,” the defender said in quotes picked up by Get France Football News.

“Some people had apprehensions about my return, but it feels good to show those people that they were wrong and that it was only speculation about my physical state […] I have grown a lot these past six months.”

We’re not sure who those doubters were – but he’s clearly back to his best and we really hope he keeps his side up.
