League One relegation battlers Shrewsbury Town are set to capture Bradford City’s experienced striker Vadaine Oliver on loan, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The 33-year-old striker has plenty of experience to boast of having started his career as a youngster at Sheffield Wednesday.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Stevenage where he managed 14 appearances but was unable to find the back of the net.
He could be on the move yet again with links emerging about a move to League One.
Shrewsbury Town, who run the risk of being relegated and currently sit deep inside the drop zone, are counting on the veteran’s experience to find themselves goals.
They have scored just 28 goals in 28 games and manager Gareth Ainsworth is keen on adding the player to increase his options up top.
The player has been given the go-ahead to sort out his move which will be on loan until the end of the season.
Oliver has entered the final six months of his contract at Bradford City.
