A positive test for Italy U19's in their first evening dedicated to international fixtures during this early September break. In Croatia, they played the opening round of the international friendly tournament, with the final result being 2-2 against England. Notably, the AC Milan representation was significant in the Azzurri lineup, featuring Magni, Liberali, and Sia, who were starters in this match, alongside Bakoune and Sala.

The standout player of the match was our 18-year-old forward, Diego Sia. After Fini's opening goal in the third minute, Sia hit the crossbar in the 30th minute and then scored the Azzurri's second goal in the 39th minute. Following the 2-0 lead, the England team responded with Wheatley’s goal in the 44th minute and a final equalizer from Antwi in the 86th minute. There was also a penalty saved by Martinelli against Nwaneri in the 55th minute. The team, coached by Alberto Bollini, will next face their German counterparts on Saturday, 7 September.
