Sidelined Barcelona star spotted in attendance at training session

A sidelined member of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona on Saturday moved to show his ongoing support for his teammates.
The player in question? Marc-André ter Stegen.
Goalkeeper Ter Stegen is for his part of course condemned to a spell away from the pitch at present.
This comes after the German international was forced to go under the knife, to solve a long-standing back complaint.
Ter Stegen has spent the last couple of weeks kickstarting his recovery efforts, away from the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.
As alluded to above, though, on Saturday, the 33-year-old moved to make clear his ongoing commitment to matters in Catalunya’s capital.
This came by way of a surprise appearance at the Ciutat Esportiva.
As showcased in the photo below, Barca’s captain was in attendance at the club’s latest first-team training session earlier this morning, joined by son Ben:
