With Unai Simón on Spain duty and Padilla with Mexico, Edin Terzic drafted academy goalkeeper Simón García Vicente into training at Lezama during the international break.

As reported by as.com, third-choice keeper Mikel Santos worked on Tuesday alongside García Vicente, who started for Bilbao Athletic on Sunday in the 2-2 draw with Fabril at Lezama.

García Vicente, from Corella and born in 2007, is regarded as one of the most promising stoppers in the club’s academy and is an under-18 international.

Centre-back Dani Vivian completed a second full session with the group, using the break to ease adductor issues. Sannadi was also involved.

The session took place without the injured Gorka Guruzeta, who will not be rushed back, and without Yuri Berchiche. Aymeric Laporte and Nico Williams were away on international duty, and Álvaro Djaló was again called up by Guinea-Bisáu, for whom he has two caps.
