Karl himself had once again provided arguments with his performance against Mainz. The 17-year-old scored his sixth professional goal, but deliberately remained in the background afterwards and refrained from making any big statements

When he celebrates his 18th birthday on 22 February, his contract will automatically be extended until 2029 – including a significant adjustment to his salary.
