Tottenham’s future decides on Palhinha

Bayern no longer planning with Palhinha

The sporting hierarchy in midfield has changed significantly at Säbener Straße, with Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic establishing themselves as a new regular duo that is clearly at the center of the team’s plans

Even the imminent departure of Leon Goretzka does not change Palhinha’s situation. Internally, Bayern are focusing on young solutions such as Tom Bischof and returnee Noel Aseko. The Portuguese no longer plays a role in these considerations

Therefore, the goal of those responsible is clearly defined: a sale in the summer. According to BILD, Munich are hoping to achieve a transfer fee of around 30 million euros – significantly less than the 50 million euros they once paid for him. How realistic this is remains to be seen, as Palhinha’s current market value is estimated at just 18 million euros

Nevertheless, there is still a market for the international, particularly in the Premier League. Several clubs are said to be interested, which strengthens FC Bayern’s negotiating position. According to Niedderer, there are also reportedly inquiries from other leagues.
