Leicester City are eyeing movement on six deals in the coming days, from a striker signing to defensive cover.

BBC Sport has reported a push to sign 18-year-old Louis Page, with top clubs circling and United viewed as frontrunners. Whether City accept bids, or allow a sale with a loan back, remains unclear.

Admir Bristric is set to join after work permit delays, in a package said to be €1.15m plus €2m add-ons on a four-year deal. City hoped to use him last weekend against League Two opposition, and it is uncertain if he will feature at Notts County.

Sheffield United are pressing for Harry Souttar. A first bid was rejected and a second arrived on Sunday, but the offer is understood to be below City’s valuation. Russell Martin wants to keep him and Ben Nelson’s injury does not change that.

Nelson’s ACL setback means at least one defender is needed. Finley Burns, 23, worked with Martin at Swansea and spent last season at Reading, so a move could be explored.

Another centre-forward is also being considered, likely on loan from the Premier League. Chelsea’s Shim Mheuka scored 18 in 19 Premier League outings and five in the UEFA Youth League last season, is set for a loan, and could complement Bristric.

Rangers’ John Souttar has also been linked and was omitted for a third straight match on Sunday. City and Swansea are competing for the Scotland defender, who has one year left on his deal.
