As the 2024/25 Bundesliga season nears its conclusion, the six nominees for the league’s Rookie of the Season award have been unveiled.

Eintracht Frankfurt boast two contenders: Kaua Santos and Nathaniel Brown.

Santos impressed in goal while stepping in for the injured Kevin Trapp, showcasing his talent before unfortunately suffering a season-ending cruciate ligament injury.

Brown, meanwhile, has made a significant leap since joining from FC Nürnberg, contributing three goals and seven assists as an attacking wing-back.

Unsurprisingly, Bayern Munich’s dazzling newcomer Michael Olise is also among the nominees. The Frenchman has had a sensational debut season in the Bundesliga following his move from Crystal Palace, racking up an astonishing 28 goal involvements (11 goals, 17 assists) in 33 league appearances.

Chrislain Matsima has earned his nomination as a commanding presence in Augsburg’s defense, helping Die Fuggerstädter maintain a solid backline for much of the campaign.

Also nominated is Lukas Ullrich, who has broken through at left-back for Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Daniel Svensson, who has made an immediate impact on the left side of Borussia Dortmund's defense after joining on loan from FC Nordsjælland during the winter transfer window.
