Nottingham Forest have begun reshaping Vitor Pereira’s squad with their retained list ahead of the window opening.
According to Nottingham Post, Stefan Ortega, Angus Gunn and Willy Boly will leave as free agents, while Lorenzo Lucca returns to Napoli after Forest declined a permanent option.
The Premier League window runs from 15 June to 1 September, 11pm. Additions are targeted for a European push, but several first-teamers face uncertain futures.
There is a growing sense Anderson could head to the Etihad. A second Manchester City bid over £120m was rejected, a £130m valuation discussed, and owner Evangelos Marinakis wants any sale on Forest’s terms.
Atalanta have monitored Savona and a move looks likely, with Forest ready to sell after a knee-hit 20-game season.
Omar Richards remains under contract after an extension yet a debut feels unlikely. David Carmo, back from Real Oviedo, is expected to move again, with a return to Olympiacos possible.
Jota Silva saw a Sporting loan with a £13m option collapse due to an administrative error, then joined Besiktas on loan, who declined their option. With Forest well stocked out wide, minutes may be scarce.
Eintracht Frankfurt view the £23m option in Arnaud Kalimuendo’s January loan as too high and want it reduced towards £17m. Talks have been held, though Forest paid £26m last summer, so flexibility remains unclear.
