Premier League teams always hope new signings settle quickly, and several of this summer's arrivals have made an instant impact at their new clubs.

From record-breaking arrivals with big expectations to lesser-known recruits already looking like inspired business, these six summer signings have wasted little time making their mark.

Mamadou Sangare - Brentford

We've got a feeling that a number of clubs higher up thePremier League food chain will be rueing their failure to sign Mamadou Sangare. Linked with some top teams after an excellent season at Lens, it was Brentford who broke their transfer record to secure a coup.

And a coup it appears. Sangare has started superbly in West London, offering all-action tenacity in Keith Andrews' midfield. At time, it appears as if he'severywhere, with the Mali midfielder seemingly tailor-made for the hustle and bustle of Premier League football.

Morgan Rogers - Chelsea

Morgan Rogers had more pressure than most on his broad shoulders this season. Signed in a club-record deal, Rogers became the most expensive English footballer ever in the summer.

He's looked right at home in Xabi Alonso's fun but flawed side, scoring three times and creating four assists in only five appearances across all competitions. His developing understanding with Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro has been one of the most watchable stories of the season's early weeks.

Konstantinos Tzolakis - Hull City

Hull have exceeded all expectations on their return to the Premier League. Unbeaten after four games, only Arsenal andManchester City have claimed more points than the Tigers.

Konstantinos Tzolakis has proved a shrewd signing, with the Greek goalkeeper excellent in early wins over Manchester United and Coventry City. Tzolakis has three clean sheets and leads thePremier League Golden Glove race alongside David Raya.

Jeremy Jacquet - Liverpool

Liverpool looked to have taken a risk when placing their faith in Jeremy Jacquet this summer, with the Frenchman replacing Ibrahima Konate despite limited experience in Ligue 1 with Rennes.

The 21-year-old has eased any concerns over his ability to handle the step up, with a series of assured performances alongside Virgil van Dijk. Jacquet leads all Premier League centre-backs for defensive duels, progressive passes, accurate passes into the final third, and progressive carries so far this season. The future looks bright.

Elliot Anderson - Manchester City

Like Rogers, Anderson was a marquee man who needed to hit the ground running. That pressure only increased following Rodri's exit, but he's been a key cog in a perfect start to the Premier League season.

Anderson was exceptional at Nottingham Forest last season, but looks even better in a side that is dominating possession. No midfielder in the league has completed more passes than City's new metronome.

Lukas Hornicek - Newcastle United

Newcastle United have missed out on several transfer targets in recent windows, but losing out on James Trafford to Leeds United might not be as costly as first feared.

In Lukas Hornicek, Newcastle feel they have landed one of Europe's best goalkeeping prospects. The 24-year-old has prevented more goals (2.9) in the Premier League this season than any other goalkeeper, according to Opta's Expected Goals model.
