He has collected 334 minutes of football across five appearances, four in the Conference League and one in the EFL Cup.

Sky Sport Italia claims that the Italian midfielder wants to return to Italy next month to gain consistent playing time. Monza are reportedly leading the race to loan the talented midfielder until the end of the season.

A product of Inter’s academy, Casadei joined Chelsea from the Nerazzurri in a €20m deal in the summer of 2022.

Casadei refused to leave Chelsea on loan last summer after Maresca’s appointment as the Blues’ head coach.

Monza, coached by Italy legend Alessandro Nesta, have only won one Serie A game out of 15 and sit 19th in the table with 10 points.
