Sky Germany has confirmed that a club are asking for a fee of £55.6m from Chelsea if they want to sign their player this summer.
Chelsea beat Los Angeles FC 2-0 in their Club World Cup opening group game on Monday night in what was a very strange and subdued atmosphere in front of just 22,000 people in a huge stadium.
It was far from vintage Chelsea but in the end they just got the job done and three points on the board to set them up for a good starts.
The goals came from a lovely Nicolas Jackson assist to Pedro Neto to finish in the first half. And then new signing Liam Delap also provided a superb assist for Enzo Fernandez to run into the box and tap in to score

It’s no secret that Chelsea are trying to sign Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens this summer and they even tried to bring him on the first summer transfer deadline day last week.
Fabrizio Romano reported yesterday that personal terms are already agreed between Gittens and Chelsea, and club to club contact is ongoing to agree a fee.
According to Sky Germany, it remains unclear whether an agreement with Borussia Dortmund can be reached, as they are demanding €65m including bonuses for Gittens.
That is stupid money for such a young and unproven player, if true of course. I don’t think for one minute that Chelsea will even think about paying that much for him and if they do, they will be very stupid.
Gittens is a £45m player MAX at the moment, not a £55.6m player (which is what it translate to in pounds).
