Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his return to Milanello this morning after three weeks away from the AC Milan training complex, a report claims.
As Sky recall, Ibrahimovic had been absent for about three weeks, also due to a strong flu that kept him away. Zlatan sat next to the field to follow the squad’s training session in view of the difficult and delicate challenge on Sunday evening against Antonio Conte’s Napoli.
On the one hand, Milan must chase fourth place to enter the Champions League, on the other the club are busy with the casting to choose the new sporting director. Ibrahimovic’s return also fits into this framework, in which the different areas of competence within the club will then be defined.
There was some talk that Ibra would arrive yesterday morning to watch the team train amid rumours that his role at the club will change. However, he did not turn up and thus his period of absence was extended.
RedBird’s Senior Advisor was not seen at Milanello during the international break, and he was not there on the eve of the home match against Como either. He was forced to watch the match on TV due to a nasty flu, which he has now recovered from.
