Nottingham Forest are intensifying their pursuit of Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, reports from Italy claim, despite new Rossoneri head coach Massimiliano Allegri’s positive opinion of the player.

According to what has been reported by Sky Sport, Nottingham Forest are ready to offer Milan €30 million for the former Arsenal and Valencia player. Napoli also are reportedly interested in the player but appear to be shifting focus to Juventus’ Fabio Miretti, in anticipation of missing out on Musah to Forest.

Musah prefers Napoli but Forest have the funds

Once again, Antonio Conte’s Scudetto winners are locked in a transfer battle with Nottingham Forest. Last month, the Premier League side beat Napoli to the signing of Bologna winger Dan Ndoye and there is a real danger of history repeating itself with Musah.

Sky’s reports claim that the player himself would prefer a move to Naples over Nottingham but the Premier League side are ready to pay Milan and Musah more than the Serie A champions can offer – as Napoli consider walking away.
