Journalist Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport Germany has revealed that Fenerbahçe has finalized the signing of French midfielder N’Golo Kanté from Al Ittihad, just before the close of the winter transfer window.

An agreement sealed for €4 million

According to the same source, the Istanbul club has reached a full agreement with Al Ittihad’s management to complete the transfer for a fee estimated at around €4 million, as the player’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season.The former Chelsea player will join Fenerbahçe on a deal running until 2028.Kanté arrived at Al Ittihad in the summer of 2023 on a three-year contract and played a pivotal role in the club’s triumphs in the Saudi league and the King’s Cup last season.At 34 years old, he made 105 appearances for Al Ittihad across all competitions, contributing to 21 goals through both scoring and assists.
