Renee Slegers says Leah Williamson is progressing well in her recovery from injury.
Arsenal will take on Brazilian side Corinthians at the Emirates as they look to win the first edition of the competition.
Williamson is yet to be fully cleared. Whilst the Arsenal captain is progressing well, her availability is dependent on the final training session ahead of the final.
“Leah Williamson is progressing really well and we’re working towards this game, but there’s still a couple of steps to take and there’s a training session tomorrow,” Slegers said.
Chloe Kelly, meanwhile, has been out with a foot injury since November but could start for the Gunners on Sunday after returning against AS FAR in the semi-finals.
Other than that, Slegers has the same squad available to her as she did for the semi-finals against FAR Rabat.
The Women’s Champions Cup was introduced at the start of the 2025/26 season. The Arsenal manager said that her side are “very excited” to reach the final.
Slegers said: “We go into this game believing in ourselves, knowing how good we are, but also with a lot of humility and respect for the opposition… It’s a special moment for the players and the club.”
