Instead of loaning out or selling numerous talented players, the record champion is focusing on a clear development plan—with regular training under Vincent Kompany and the prospect of earning their first minutes of playing time.

Last season, several homegrown players already gained their first experience with the first team. Alongside Lennart Karl, Wisdom Mike, Erblin Osmani, and Maycon Cardozo, among others, made their debuts in the FC Bayern jersey.

The Munich club intends to consistently continue down this path in the 2026–27 season as well.

It is no coincidence that the professional squad has been deliberately kept relatively lean. With Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, the record champions signed only two high-profile new players. Furthermore, as things stand, no major signings are planned.

There is a clear plan behind this strategy.

On the one hand, the goal is to reduce personnel costs and generate additional revenue through player sales. On the other hand, club officials want to make it easier for the most talented players from their own academy to make the leap to the professional team.

Lennart Karl, who has made a lasting impression in recent months, serves as a model for this approach.

As reported by *kicker*, FC Bayern currently has no plans for further loan moves or permanent transfers of its youth players. Instead, many young talents are to be integrated more closely into the professional squad on a permanent basis.

Regular training with Kompany

According to the report, several youth players are set to train regularly under Vincent Kompany in the future—not only during preseason but also as the season progresses.

Among the players receiving particular attention is center back Cassiano Kiala. The 18-year-old, like Maycon Cardozo, is expected to train regularly with the pros while also gaining playing time with the reserve team.

A similar model is apparently also planned for Guido Della Rovere.

There are also positive developments regarding David Santos Daiber. The attacking player, who has already made his first brief appearances with the first team, is working on his comeback following a muscle injury.

He is scheduled to return to team training after FC Bayern’s trip to Asia. Afterward, club officials plan to decide on the next steps in his development.

Wisdom Mike is also on his way back. The club continues to recognize the young attacking talent’s great potential, which is why he will be brought back gradually following his injury.

Center back Filip Pavic can also look forward to his first professional appearances. The defender is expected to train regularly with the first team for now and earn further opportunities through strong performances.

FC Bayern is thus consistently continuing on its chosen path. Instead of signing external players to fill roster spots, the Munich club aims to systematically develop its own youth players and introduce them to the Bundesliga level at an early stage.
