FC Barcelona are currently celebrating a successful end to the 2025-26 season, in which they won the Spanish Super Cup and the La Liga titles. The latter was wrapped up only last Sunday, when the Blaugranes beat Real Madrid 2-0.
Following this win, the Catalans were mathematically confirmed as the league winners, and were also handed the trophy. The team then celebrated their win with their fans, with a parade in the city of Barcelona.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana players have also been bragging about their latest triumph on social media. One such activity from Lamine Yamal has caught the eye of most followers of Spanish football.
As SPORT has reported, the winger took to Instagram following the day of the El Clasico win, and shared an image of himself watching the game from the stands, which was accompanied by the text: “talk is cheap” and seven crying emojis.
This is clearly a response to a social media post made by Jude Bellingham when the Merengues won the first El Clasico of the season. This post had come in the aftermath of comments made by Yamal in a show, accusing Real Madrid of cheating and complaining.
With this post, it seems like Lamine Yamal has gotten one back over Jude Bellingham, but it remains to be seen whether this story would have any more episodes, as both the players are highly likely to face one another again with Barcelona and Real Madrid going forward.
