You may have missed some big Chelsea transfer news that came out during the defeat against Arsenal last night.

The Blues were busy on the pitch in the first leg of the League Cup semi finals, losing the game 3-2 on the night – but it is of course only half time in the tie.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea hold second round of talks to sign 6ft 4in centre back!

Two more familiar mistakes from Robert Sanchez had Chelsea fans remembering just how bad he can be when he is asked to only play out from the back against an intense high press.

It was down to substitute Alejandro Garnacho to be the one to keep Chelsea in the game with two goals on the night, including an impressive technical effort to get it back to 3-2 from 3-1 down.

But away from the game, there was some pretty big Chelsea transfer news that came out of France.

Fernandez to leave the club?

As per a report from L’Équipe, Enzo Fernández is a name that features on PSG’s shortlist.

The midfielder has apparently been somewhat disturbed by the departure of Enzo Maresca, with whom he had a strong relationship. With Maresca gone and Liam Rosenior in, Fernández is questioning his future at Chelsea, per the report.

No move is being spoken about for January, so it would be one for the summer.

Chelsea would ask for big money

I believe Chelsea would probably entertain a sale of Fernandez, but it would have to be for big money. I don’t think he’s unsellable at all, but they would demand a big fee to any club wanting to sign him.

Real Madrid would also be a club to watch in this story.
