“Something we didn’t see” – Mikel explains change he’s noticed in Fernandez after Rosenior sacking

Enzo Fernandez is a changed man following the departure of Liam Rosenior according to former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel.

The Argentine scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea advanced to the FA Cup final after a 1-0 win against Leeds at Wembley on Sunday.
Having struggled under Rosenior, Fernandez looked back to somewhere near his best, and the Blues will need that version of him if they are to have any hope of a top six finish.
Fernandez was handed a two game ban under Rosenior following comments he made about his future during the March international break.
It’s a decision which is believed to have not gone down well with the squad, and one which certainly didn’t help Rosenior’s standing within the dressing room.
Fernandez was named of the match in the FA Cup semi final, and Mikel has claimed he’s a changed man following Rosenior’s departure.
“Credit to Enzo, Enzo Fernandez does what he does, which is what I said,” he told The Obi One podcast.
“He’s become the master at that, arriving late at the box and scoring goals. That’s something we didn’t see at all under Liam Rosenior.”

Mikel has warned Chelsea against appointing Cesc Fabregas as he believes it’s to early in the Spaniard’s career.
