South Korean superstar Son Heung min could make sensational return to the Premier League , thanks to little known clause in his contract with Los Angeles FC.

Son who left Tottenham Hotspur this past summer after 10 season in North London joined the MLS club for around £19.5 million. But according to report from The Sun, the 33 year old forward’s deal includes provision that allows short term move back to Europe during Major League Soccer’s off season.

A decade with Spurs

Son’s departure marked the end of era at Tottenham where he became one of the club’s most iconic players after joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

Since moving stateside, the South Korean captain has wasted no time proving his class scoring 8 goal and providing 3 assist in just 9 match instantly transforming LAFC into title contender.

Despite reported interest from Saudi Arabian clubs during the 2025 summer window, Son opted for new challenge in MLS.

However the special clause in his contract now opens the door for potential return to Europe either to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup or if he decides to accept an offer from European giant before his deal expires in 2027.
