Both of the CONCACAF big boys are in friendly action this evening as the United States take on South Korea, while Mexico face off with Japan.
Here is what has gone down in the friendly showdowns so far.
Scorers: Son 18', Lee 43'
It was another defeat for the United States as they fell to South Korea in front of a pro-Korean crowd in New Jersey.
Defensive lapses allowed the visitors two goals in the opening half, the first of which was a slick finish from Son Heung-min, and the second a tidy back-heel flick from Lee Dong-gyeong.
While the United States put up a bit more of a fight in the second interval, the chaotic nature of Mauricio Pochettino's team selections were on full display as they looked disjointed, and major lacked cohesion in the final third.
The defeat sees the United States fall to a top-25 ranked team according to FIFA's rankings for the fifth straight game.
It was comfortable in the end for South Korea, who will now turn attention to a showdown with Mexico next week. Meanwhile, the U.S. will square off with Japan.
