The Korea Football Association, KFA, issued a public apology on Saturday after a JTBC report alleged that sexual services were provided to foreign referees in 2011.
The allegations concern international officials who travelled to the country to oversee matches in 2014 World Cup qualifying and at the London 2012 Olympics.

The apology referenced concern over various matters involving the organisation and indicated that many members had not been aware.
The conduct was characterised as historic and no longer happening.
Searches at KFA headquarters on Thursday were initially aimed at clarifying the appointment of former national team coach Hong Myung-bo.
