Southampton appoint Tonda Eckert head coach on deal to June 2027

Southampton have appointed Tonda Eckert as head coach on a contract running to June 2027, Daily Echo reports.

The move follows the start he has made to his management career.

On that basis, Saints were always going to formalise the promising coach’s position on a permanent basis.

Eckert now takes charge as the club’s head coach.

His terms are set to run until June 2027.
