Southampton have confirmed the appointment of Will Still as their new manager on a three-year deal.
The 32-year- old joins Saints following the club's relegation back to the Championship, and will be tasked with a likely rebuild.
Still leaves Lens after one season in charge, in which he achieved an eight-placed finish in Ligue 1.
He has also previously managed Reims and Belgian sides Lierse and Beerschot.
Speaking after signing on, Still said: "I’m extremely proud and excited to have joined Southampton. There is huge potential here. We have a great opportunity to do something special. The project that has been laid out to me is very impressive and, all together, I believe we can build a clear identity and a very positive future for the team."
Southampton's Premier League season ends on Sunday against Arsenal at St. Mary's, in what will be Simon Rusk's final game in caretaker charge.
