Southampton Women goalkeeper Grace Moloney has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for World Cup qualifying play-offs against Kazakhstan. Daily Echo reports that the Saints stopper is included for this month's ties.

Ireland travel to Astana on the ninth of October for the semi-final first leg, then host the return in Cork on 13 October.

The winner will then face either Belgium or Poland in the following international break, with a place at next summer's Women's World Cup in Brazil on the line.

Moloney joined Saints from Sunderland in the summer and has started all four of their WSL2 matches so far this season.

Simon Parker's side are unbeaten in the league, with one win and three draws.
