Yukinari Sugawara is expected to leave Southampton before the transfer window closes, with Serie A club Cagliari the likely destination.

According to Sky Sports, the right-back is set to join before the 11pm deadline tomorrow. The move is described as a loan that includes a €5 million option to buy.
