Spain, Belgium and Uruguay begin World Cup campaigns on Monday 15 June

The fifth day of the 2026 World Cup brings the first outings for Spain, Belgium and Uruguay, with four fixtures set for Monday 15 June.
According to Americayya.net, earlier rounds underlined the early pace, Germany routed Curaçao 7-1 and Sweden beat Tunisia 5-1.
There were surprises too, with Brazil held by Morocco and the Netherlands drawing 2-2 with Japan, whose organisation stood out.
CONMEBOL are yet to record a win, with Paraguay thrashed by the United States, Brazil drawing, and Ecuador losing in the last minute to Ivory Coast.
Today features four matches, and for the first time in this tournament none will be shown free-to-air in Mexico, all are exclusive to VIX Premium.
Spain face Cape Verde at 10:00AM, Belgium meet Egypt at 01:00PM. Saudi Arabia play Uruguay at 04:00PM, and Iran take on New Zealand at 07:00PM, all on VIX Premium.
