Spain Women’s Fan Zone opens in Castellón’s Plaza Mayor, opening times for this week | OneFootball

Spain Women’s Fan Zone has returned to Castellón’s Plaza Mayor, attracting families and fans alike with a full programme of activities.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, this is the first time the fan zone has been staged in Spain, themed around the women’s national team. It features an official shop, a photocall, gaming areas, games and surprises, plus a three-a-side football pitch.

Supporters also got a close look at the trophies won by the national team led by Sonia Bermúdez, including two UEFA Women’s Nations League titles and the World Cup secured in Australia. Music and entertainment kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day.

Sports councillor Maica Hurtado visited, noting the strong turnout and the city’s enthusiasm for the team. She said the Fan Zone will reopen on Sunday from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

On Tuesday, the third of March, matchday for Spain against Iceland at the SkyFi Castalia, the fan zone moves to Plaza Teodoro Izquierdo beside the stadium. Opening hours there will be 15:00 to 19:00 ahead of kick-off.
