Luciano Spalletti has admitted that Kenan Yildiz is the best player at Juventus right now, with the Bianconeri waiting for their star man to return to action after he underwent surgery a few days ago.

Yildiz has been unfortunate with injuries in recent times, having suffered one towards the end of the season which almost forced him to miss the World Cup. His fitness has remained a concern, and Juventus have been unable to rely on him consistently.

He was given an extended break after the tournament, yet the midfielder suffered a foot fracture in Juve’s first match of the season. The injury has now sidelined him for several months, leaving the Bianconeri without one of their most important players.

Juventus wait for Yildiz return

The Bianconeri hope Yildiz will return to full fitness soon, but his absence cannot be allowed to stop them from competing. The best thing Juventus can do for their injured star is remain in contention in all competitions by the time he is ready to return.

Juve have other good players who should help them continue winning in his absence. Their squad has enough quality to ensure they remain competitive, and some strong performances could even reduce the impact of Yildiz being unavailable.

However, there is little doubt about how highly Spalletti rates the young star. The Juventus manager considers Yildiz the strongest player available to him and clearly believes his return will provide a significant boost.

Spalletti confirms Yildiz’s importance

Spalletti also revealed that Juventus are pleased with how the operation went and are waiting for the player to come back. His comments underline the importance of Yildiz to the Bianconeri and the excitement surrounding his eventual return.

Spalletti said via Corriere dello Sport:

“There’s no point in beating around the bush; he’s the strongest player we have at our disposal. We’re waiting for him with open arms; we’re pleased the deal went well.”

For now, Juventus must cope without their best player while ensuring their season remains on track. If the Bianconeri can continue competing strongly until Yildiz returns, his comeback could provide them with another major boost for the remainder of the campaign.
