Juventus remains one of the most active clubs on the transfer market in the closing weeks of the window, as the Bianconeri look to ensure they have the right squad when the window closes.
They have already signed several top players, but more are on their way. Luciano Spalletti expects several more to be added to the squad, as the club had promised him. With the final days of the window approaching, Juventus must now work quickly to complete the manager’s preferred additions.
As we enter the final days of the window, Fichajes says Spalletti expects the club to sign Fikayo Tomori, Franck Kessie, and Joshua Zirkzee. All three players have been on their radar for weeks, and Juventus have even held talks with their entourage about potential moves.
The club expects to complete these deals, but doing so will require careful planning. Spalletti wants the three players before the window closes, meaning Juventus’ bosses will have to act decisively if they are to fulfil the manager’s wishes and strengthen the squad further.
The time has also come for Juventus to make some sales if they want to avoid having an unnecessarily large squad by the start of the season. The Bianconeri will have to sell players to create room for the new targets, particularly with several additions potentially arriving in the final stages of the window.
Juventus have so far managed to secure the best players they can get, but Spalletti remains keen to add Tomori, Kessie, and Zirkzee before the transfer window closes. The club’s priorities are therefore becoming increasingly clear, although completing the deals may depend on their ability to move players out.
Kessie will arrive as a free agent, but even free transfers require space within the squad. Juventus therefore need to ensure that players leave before they can complete every deal they are targeting. The closing days of the window could consequently prove decisive for both recruitment and departures.
With Spalletti expecting further additions, Juventus now face a balancing act between strengthening the squad and reducing its size. The club must make room for the players the manager wants while ensuring the squad remains manageable once the window finally closes.
