According to Voetbal International, there is a chance that Joël Drommel (28) could become the new Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper.
His current status at PSV continues to revolve around the arrival of Daniel Peretz (24) from Bayern Munich. With the Israeli’s expected arrival after agreed personal terms, Drommel will then take the opposite path of Nick Olij (29) and head to Rotterdam.
If PSV fail to sign Peretz, who has gone to the Club World Cup with Bayern, back-up keeper Drommel will not be allowed to leave Eindhoven.
Sparta hope to bring him in as the new first choice. Drommel (28) reported to PSV’s first training today (Monday), but is expected to depart. The intention is that he will extend his contract which runs until next summer, and then be loaned to Sparta.
With this, PSV will be hopeful that Drommel’s value will increase, and they can then sell him.
