Spitting & punching: Barcelona legends embarrass themselves after Inter Miami final defeat | OneFootball

Two former icons at La Liga giants Barcelona were responsible for frankly embarrassing moments in the aftermath of Inter Miami’s meeting with Seattle Sounders.

Inter Miami marked their return to action on Sunday, locking horns with Seattle in the finale of the Leagues Cup.

When all was said and done, Javier Mascherano’s troops endured an evening to forget, put to the sword by three goals to nil.

Playing their respective parts in as much were a quartet of former Barcelona stars, in the form of Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suárez.

And in the aftermath of the full-time whistle, the latter pair were responsible for some less-than-admirable behaviour.

Midfielder Busquets was caught on camera directing a punch in the face of youngster Obed Vargas:

And the drama did not stop there…

As tensions continued to mount, Luis Suárez was seemingly spotted spitting in the face of a member of the victorious Sounders staff:
