Sport on winless run, set to start two former Corinthians

Corinthians visits Sport Recife this Sunday afternoon, September 21, for the 24th round of the Brasileirão, starting at 5:30 pm (Brasília time). In an undefeated streak, Timão tries to take advantage of the four games without a win from the opponent, which may have two former alvinegro players in the starting lineup of the match.

As mentioned, the team from Recife has not won in the Brasileirão for four games, occupying the last position in the championship. The Lion of the Island has only one victory in 21 matches played, being 12 points below the first team outside the relegation zone, which is Santos.

According to GE, Gabriel; Matheus Alexandre, Rafael Thyere, Ramon Menezes and Luan Cândido; Rivera, Zé Lucas and Matheusinho; Barletta, Léo Pereira and Derik should form the starting team. Matheus Alexandre and Barletta are athletes who have already defended Corinthians, being susceptible to the ex-law.

Matheus Alexandre was part of Corinthians' youth categories, he even trained with the professional squad, but never played with the main team. Later on, Barletta stayed for a few months after being signed as a revelation from São Bernardo in the Paulistão, he could not stand out and was loaned to Ceará, before being signed by Sport.
